Wouldn't it be cool to be able to do that all through the Holiday Season - eat all the treats and desserts you'd like without gaining weight? Barring searching all over the web, spending hours researching and reading, for most of us, this will be a "pipe dream" rather than reality this holiday season.
I usually keep my eyes open and try new recipes that might help people lose weight (or at least not gain any) but it's pretty hard to find recipes that are really worth the time and ingredients.
This fall, however, I found a recipe on Facebook for healthy brownies and decided to make some to take to the Farmers Market to sell. First I made them for my own family and frankly, the majority of the family wasn't impressed. But I decided to take them anyway. I was surprised at the response. Everyone who tasted them, bought an individually wrapped "healthy" brownie. They said they really liked them. But...based on my family's reactions, I thought they were rather suspect. Anyway...
Today I came across something I thought might be extremely helpful to anyone who would like to watch their calories during the holiday season. Not only are these dessert recipes designed to help you stay trim during the holidays while satisfying your sweet tooth, they are also designed to enable you to even lose weight. But I'll let you take a look and be the judge for yourself.
Here's to a healthier you and to never being overweight again!
Oh, and enjoy the holidays without going into the New Year with a bunch of weight you need to lose.
